31-08-2022-Mobile Court (Weights and Measures and Commodity Quality Control)

Last 31.08.2022 A.D. RAB-09 and BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet jointly organized mobile court in different areas of Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Habiganj districts of Sylhet division. A case was filed against 10 establishments in the mobile court operated and the case was settled by collecting a total fine of Tk.3,25,000/-(three lakh twenty five thousand).

 Details are as follows:
(1) A fine of 30,000/- (thirty thousand) was levied for underpayment of M/s Raj Filling Station, Fenchuganj, Sylhet.

(02) A fine of 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) was levied for underpayment of M/s Haji Mubarak Filling Station, Rajnagar, Moulvibazar.

(3) M/s Mouchak Food Prod. A fine of 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) was levied for lack of CM certificate of Biscuit and Bread products of Chandnighat, Moulvibazar.
(4) M/s Mom Food Pro.A fine of 25,000/-(twenty five thousand) was levied due to lack of CM certificate for biscuits, bread and cake products of Chandnighat, Moulvibazar.

(5) M/s Bengal Food.A fine of 25,000/- for lack of CM certificate of Biscuit Products of Srimangal Road, Moulvibazar and 15,000/- for paying 36 grams less in 600 grams of biscuits, a total of 40,000/- (forty thousand) was levied.

(6) M/s Rahi Ice Cream Factory, Srimangal, Moulvibazar was fined 30,000/- (thirty thousand) for not having CM certificate.
(7) A fine of 30,000/- (thirty thousand) was levied on M/s Bhai Bhai Ice Cream Factory, Srimangal, Moulvibazar for not having CM certificate.

(8) M/s Ma Filling Station, Shaistaganj, Habiganj was fined 25,000/-(twenty five thousand) for underpayment.
(9) M/s Highway Inn Limited, Madhavpur, Habiganj were fined 25,000/- for lack of CM certificate and 10,000/- for lack of CM certificate for bread, cake products, totaling 35,000/-(thirty five thousand). .

(10) A fine of Rs. 25,000/- and 10,000/- for lack of CM certificate for bread and cake products of M/s Pansi Inn Restaurant, Madhavpur, Habiganj and Rs. .

(11) M/s Haji Machhabir Filling Station, Fenchuganj, Sylhet
(12) M/s Amirunecha Filling Station, Moulvibazar

(13) M/s Mary Gold Filling Station, Srimangal, Moulvibazar

Measurements of filling stations No. 11-13 are found to be correct.


Under the leadership of Mr. Md. Mazharul Islam, learned Executive Magistrate, RAB Forces Headquarters, Dhaka, Mr. Masud Rana, Divisional Office Sylhet officer of BSTI, Senior Inspector (MET) and Mohammad Parvez Miah, Field Officer (CM) participated in the said mobile court.
