 (Regarding Weights and Measures and Verification of Quality of Goods)

Today 29/09/2022 A.D. BSTI divisional office Sylhet and Rajnagar upazila administration organized a mobile court. The activities of mobile court conducted are as follows:
01. Ma Fresh Water, Hospital Road, Rajnagar, Moulvibazar was fined Tk 15,000 for using BSTI logo on the label of packaged drinking water product without BSTI approval.
02. Haji Mubarak & Sons Filling Station, Rajnagar, Moulvibazar Diesel and Octane Dispensing Unit was fined only Tk 40,000 (forty thousand) for low measurement.
BSTI Office Officer Mr. Suman Saha, Senior Inspector (MET) and Mr. Md. Yashir Arafat, Field Officer (CM) participated in the said mobile court under the leadership of Ms. Sanjida Akhter, Assistant Commissioner (Lands).
