Mobile Court (Weights and Measures and Product Quality Control)

Today 28-09-2022 AD. A mobile court was conducted in various areas in Habiganj city on date. If a complaint is filed against the following organizations in the mobile court, the cases are settled by collecting fines from the mobile court. Details are as follows:
01. M/s New Elahi Food Products, Mohanpur, Sadar, Habiganj were fined Tk 25,000 for selling and distributing various types of biscuits, bread, cakes and drinking water products without obtaining BSTI's standard certificate.
02. M/s Riha Drinking Water, Pool No. 3, Sadar, Habiganj was fined Tk 25,000.
Deputy Commissioner's office, Habiganj, under the leadership of Mr. Jewel Bhowmik, Executive Magistrate, BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet Mr. Mohammad Parvez Miah, Field Officer (CM) participated as prosecutors in the mobile court.
 Such operations of BSTI Sylhet will continue.
