27-10-2022-Mobile Court (Product Quality Control and Weights and Measures)
Details
Today 27-10-2022 AD. A mobile court was conducted in different areas of Sylhet city on the date. If a complaint is filed against the following organizations in the mobile court, the case is settled by collecting fines from the mobile court. The details are as follows:
01. M/s Rupu Bombay Food Products Basic Industrial, Khadimnagar, Sylhet was fined Tk.8000/- as per Weights and Measures Standards Act.

02.M/S Sweet Food Products, BSCIC Shilpanagari, Khadimnagar, Sylhet were fined Tk.10000, due to Production, sale and distribution of biscuits, bread, cakes without obtaining BSTI quality certificate and for lack of verification certificate.

Under the leadership of Upazila Nirbahi Magistrate of Sylhet Sadar, Mr. Nusrat Azmiri Haque, BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet Officer Mr. Mohammad Parvez Miah, Field Officer (CM) and Maryam, Inspector (Met) participated as prosecutors in the mobile court.
