Mobile Court (Weights and Measures)

Today 24-10-2022 AD. A mobile court was conducted in Sadar Upazila of Habiganj district on The details of the mobile court are as follows:

Tk.5,000/- was fined to M/s Joydeep Misthanna Bhandar for producing and selling fermented milk (sweet curd) without obtaining packaging registration certificate.
M/s Rajdeep Foods was fined Tk.5,000/- for manufacturing and selling fermented milk (sweet yogurt) without obtaining packaging registration certificate

Furthermore, thanks are given to the concerned institutions for checking the weighing machines of various grocery stores and getting the measurements correct.
Under the leadership of Executive Magistrate Mr. Sadia Akhter of Habiganj District Commissioner's Office, BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet Officer Md. Masud Rana, Senior Inspector (Metrology) participated in the mobile court as a prosecutor.
