(Regarding Product Quality Verification)

Today on 19/10/2022 AD, a mobile court was conducted in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar district. The activities of mobile court conducted are as follows:

01) Sun Drinking Water, Kulaura, Moulvibazar was fined Tk. 25,000 as per BSTI Act-2018 for using BSTI's trademark on the label of packaged drinking water products without BSTI's approval.
02. Rima Bread and Biscuit Factory, North Kulaura, Moulvibazar has been fined Rs 40,000 (forty thousand) as per BSTI Act-2018 for producing, selling and marketing bread, biscuit and cake products without the approval of BSTI.
03. Modern Bakery and Confectionery, Uchlapara, Kulaura, Moulvibazar company has been fined only Tk 25,000 as per BSTI Act-2018 for manufacturing, selling and marketing bread, biscuit and cake products without the approval of BSTI.
Mr. Md. Mehdi Hasan, learned Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) led by Mr. Yashir Arafat, Field Officer (CM) of BSTI office participated in the said mobile court. Such activities of BSTI Sylhet will continue in public interest.
