19-09-2022-Mobile Court (Weights and Measures and Product Quality Control)
Details
Today 19-09-2022 AD. A mobile court was conducted in different areas of Sylhet city on the date. If a complaint is filed against the following organizations in the mobile court, the cases are settled by collecting fines from the mobile court. Details are as follows:
01. M/s Dream Gallery, Elegand Shopping Center, Zindabazar, Sylhet were fined 25,000 taka for selling and distributing different brands of shampoo, skin lotion, nail polish products without obtaining BSTI's standard certificate/ clearance.
02. Sylhet Online Shop, Elegand Shopping Centre, Zindabazar, Sylhet was fined Tk 25,000. A total fine of Taka 50,000 was imposed.

Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Sylhet under the leadership of Executive Magistrate Mr. Shahina Akhtar, BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet Mr. Mohammad Parvez Miah, Field Officer (CM) and Mr. Suman Saha Senior Examiner, (MET) participated as prosecutors in the mobile court.
