17-08-2022-Mobile Court (Weights and Measures and Product Quality Control)
Details
Today 17-08-2022 AD. A mobile court was conducted in Sadar Upazila of Sylhet district on If a complaint is filed against the following institutions in the said mobile court, the cases are settled by collecting fines from the mobile court. Details are as follows:
1. A fine of Tk. 25,000/- was imposed on M/s Saveri Food Products, BSIK Shilpa Nagari, Khadimnagar, Sylhet for manufacturing, selling and distributing biscuits and cake products without obtaining BSTI's quality certificate.

2. M/s. E Enterprise, Daspara, Khadimnagar, Sylhet was fined Tk.10,000/- due to diesel delivers less in measure.
Also thanks are expressed to M/s R Rahman Filling Station, Pirer Bazar, Sadar, Sylhet for accurate measurement of diesel, petrol and octane.

Under the leadership of Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Mr. Nusrat Ajmeri Haque, BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet Officer Md. Masud Rana, Senior Inspector (Metrology) and Mr. Mohammad Parvez Mia, Field Officer (CM) participated as prosecutors in the mobile court.
