11-08-2022-Mobile Court (Weights and Measures and Quality Control of Products)
Details
Today 11-08-2022 AD. A mobile court is being operated in Biswanath Upazila of Sylhet.
If a complaint is filed against the following 03 organizations in the mobile court, the cases are settled by charging a total fine of 25000/- by the mobile court. Details are as follows:

1. M/s Nurul Islam Filling Station, Karikona, Biswanath, Sylhet was fined Rs.10,000/- for paying less than the measure.
2. M/s Rahman & Co., New Bazar, Viswanath, Sylhet were fined Rs.5,000/- for paying less than the measure.

3. M/s Khan Enterprises, Rampasha, Vishwanath, Sylhet were fined Rs.10,000/- for paying less than the measure.
BSTI Divisional Office Sylhet officer Suman Saha, Senior Inspector (Metrology) and Mr. Md. Yasir Arafat, Field Officer (CM) participated in the mobile court under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Miss Asma Jahan Sarkar of Biswanath Upazila.
